Simply put, the Cox Giles G-202 is one wild, pedal to the metal model. Sure, 3-D planes might be capable of more extreme stunts, but at 10 mph. Put any speed to a 3-D plane and the ailerons will flutter right off the airplane! The Giles can perform high powered, high-G, HIGH SPEED aerobatics like few others. We're talking stick-bending, use all the airspace, good thing there is no live pilot aboard aerobatics. At slow speeds, the Giles is a much tamer cat. That is the big appeal of the modern crop of scale aerobatic models. They perform killer stunts at high speeds but at landing speeds, the Giles is a pussycat. Predictable and stable right down the centerline at speeds where the pattern ships of yesteryear would have been falling out of the sky. Of course the Cox Giles G-202 is built light enough to perform and built strong enough to handle the abuse. This is the perfect everyday plane for the active modeler. Keep your skills sharp with this inexpensive to own and fly model. A turbine powered jet or giant scale aerobatic model is just too risky and impractical to fly on a frequent basis. But, you'll be more than ready for anything with regular practice with your Cox Giles G-202. The Cox Giles G-202 is fully built up from lightweight balsa and ply. A full hardware package containing US sized spinner, fuel tank, wheels, steerable tailwheel, pushrods and linkages is included. The Cox Giles G-202 is already pre-covered in genuine Sig AeroKote in an eye catching, high visibility design. We also include a clear dummy cowl so that you can see and measure any glow plug or exhaust openings you may require so that you can accurately cut them in the fiberglass cowling without guesswork.
