Metron Flyer Outdoor Slow Flyer

The Flyer is designed for convenient outdoor flying sites like school yards, parks, open fields, or empty parking areas. This 24 in. long 36 in. wingspan model has 300 square inches of wing area. She is constructed from laser cut balsa, carbon fiber, and polyester tissue and weighs in at approximately 7.5 oz ready to fly including 6 x110 Nicad batteries. (Batteries not included in kit) Designed for three channel R/C including aileron, elevator, and motor. Rudder control is an option.

Another rare subject is our laser cut model of the famous Waco ARE. A proven electric R/C flyer designed by Pat Tritle, the Waco ARE has a 35" wingspan.

Kestral Indoor Slow FLyer 

The Kestral, is our high tech indoor offering. Indoor flight is the hot new area in model aviation and the Kestral is getting a lot of attention. The Kestral is 28 inches long with a 34 inch wingspan and has 250 square inches of wing area. Constructed out of carbon fiber rod and tube, aluminum tube, and balsa, the Kestral is covered with polyester tissue and mylar. Designed for three channel R/C (rudder, elevator, and motor) the Kestral has a ready to fly weight of approximately 5.5 oz.

Truly one of the world's great flyers and the Dumas model of the Pilatus Porter is no different. Designed by Pat Tritle for electric R/C using affordable off the shelf components. The Pilatus Porter has a 40" wing span.
