Sopwith PUP ARF 31.5 inches - KAV6426

Its 20% smaller size than the Sopwith 1 1/2 Strutter and soon earned the Sopwith Admiralty Type 9901 and the "Pup" nickname

Its brilliant performance made it one of the favorites among the British air force legends, even if only relatively few (1,170) were built. It was powered with the popular 80 HP Le Rhone rotary engine that gave it a 180 kph (112 mph) top speed and a maximum flight time of 3 hours. A Sopwith Pup, flown by Commander E.H. Dunning, made history on August 2, 1917 by completing the first ever landing at sea on the deck of the HMS Furious aircraft carrier. Material: Lightweight fully painted durable foam, vacuum formed plastic and balsa

Includes: "Plug & Fly" 280-size motor with KAVAN K1 Gold connector, SPF GearBox, APC prop, wheels, decals, hardware and illustrated instructions
