Like
it's sibling, the Kadet LT-40 Electric RTF behaves gently in
flight. With the powerful factory installed FlyWare LRK 350/15
Outrunner Motor even takeoffs from grass fields are no
problem. The efficient motor with high output 8-cell Ni-MH
battery pack (not included) combine to give typical training
flights over 9 minutes. Because the LT-40 is bigger than the
average .40 size trainer, the LT-40 Electric has very light
wing loading allowing slower flight! This slower speed gives
the student pilot more time to think and react to what the
model is doing, thus making it easier to learn to fly R/C.
Like the glow version, it's made of select balsa and plywood
then meticulously covered with Sig AeroKote film. For simple
weight and balance (C.G.) and for peak performance (40A
discharge), a high quality 8-cell 3300 mAh Ni-MH battery pack
is recommended.
