FlyWare Brushless Electric Motors

FlyWARE motors are innovative and carefully handcrafted motors "Made in Germany". All motors use the finest material, such as ball bearings from Germany and magnets of the newest generation, rust resistant without having to be nickel plated. Computer optimized stator plates, guaranties an optimum efficiency. For a low turning resonance and a maximum packing rate on the stator, FlyWARE uses multi-stranded wire in the T-Rex motors.

FlyWARE Brushless Motors, designed and produced in Germany, have been developed particularly for modelsport and military/civil UAV applications. The product range cover motors and controllers from 80 to 4000 Watts of power and allow to find a suitable electric engine for almost any application, ranging from wing model aircrafts, model helicopters, ship models, up to Micro and Mini UAVs.

MAX650-F5 Brushless Motor For Flight Models

The motors of the “MAX” series are internal rotor motors with eight or sixteen magnet poles for the direct drive. The special design, derivate from industrial application uses, allows high torque, a broad speed range and easy mounting in or on the model. For special, little used applications an usual gear can be mounted easily.

The “MAX-650” motors with 40mm diameter are optimized for their individual range of application. Three types for the flight range (F-Series), three types for speed boat range (Shark-Series), and three types for the helicopter range (Heli-Series).

An integrated ventilation cares for low working temperature, high durability and therefore a constantly high efficiency also at continuous duty.

The LRK Series brushless outrunner motors have been developed to find a suitable motor for almost any application of electrical models, ranging from the Slow-flyer to the large Scale Model and Sail Planes, from the Mini-Heli to High-Performance Helicopter, and from the Micro to Mini UAVs for civil and military applications

Missing brushes and RPM-Sensors, this motors are not subject to usury and provide an efficiency of above 86%. Thanks to its high torque, the motors are designed for direct drive and doesn't need any reduction-gear.

LRK 350, the universal electric engine up to 750 Watt. Available in the configuration LRK350/10, 15, 20 and 25, this fascinating designed motor, allow a broad range of applications. The outrunner motors of the “TORQUE-REX” (T-Rex) series open new performance ranges for the electric model sports technology. With an input power of up to 4KW (4000 Watt) and an efficiency up to 91%, these engines offer the possibility of the direct drive electrification or refit of Large Scale Models, usually equipped with glow/gasoline engines.

“T-Rex Light”, the smallest of its category. It is an engine developed to deliver up to 1200 Watt with 24-32 cells. The engineering is based on the T-Rex family, but complex and innovative technical adoptions helped to reduce its weight to only 380g.

The sensorless FlyWARE controllers are suitable for all kinds of brushless motors, but they are optimzed for high torque motors such as those from FlyWARE. They are easy and safe to program and the timing is automatically set with FlyWare motors. All controllers are equipped with temperature, current overload protection and a sensitive radio signal monitoring system. Brake on/off is programmable. Number of Li-Po cells is programmable to protect the Li-Po cells. All FlyWARE controllers are made for motors with a high pole count, this protects high torque motors from cut off at the power edge as "normal" speed controllers usually do. The controllers offer the best and most stable quality you can get for your motor.

Here you can download a free program "FLYSIM.EXE" to help you decide what is the best motor and propeller size for your system.


When you click Free Download a new screen will open and you will be asked whether or not you wish to insall the program. If you answer yes then the program will install and start running.

Enter the following data to the program the

  1. The shaft power you need
  2. The operating RPM
  3. The speed you wish your model to fly
  4. The controller you want to use
  5. The number of battery cells to use

Press "Calculate" to produce a table of suggested motors and a table of suggested propeller sizes.
