HARRY HIGLEY GLOW PLUG TAP

GLOW PLUG TAP Glow Plugs have the uncommon 1/4-32 thread. The USA's largest threading tool manufacturer makes these reasonably priced taps and dies for us. The tap cleans fouled threads in a cylinder head. The die serves a very important function. Glow plugs are often improperly threaded by the factory and installing one ruins an engine's head. Rethreading all plugs with our die eliminates the problem. A 1/4-32 die is much less expensive than a head, especially one from a four-stroke engine. PROP LOCK   &  LIGHT PROP LOCK  An electric starter or a backfire can cause the propeller to spin off, especially with four-stroke engines. Any mechanic knows a second nut, screwed against the original one, locks both tightly in place. Our Lite Lock (aluminum) and Prop Lock (brass) replace the propeller washer.
