QUANTUM LITHIUM SOLUTION II LI-PO CHARGER

The Solution II Charger is an easy to use Li-Po charger for 1 - 4 cell Li.-Po packs with a maximum charge rate up to 3 A. With the integrated display you can easily charge the Li-Po pack with the correct parameters. The display informs you also about all conditions and modes. After you've set up the charger the Solution II charger checks your settings on the connected battery, if your setup is incorrect the charger will warn you over the display.

The Solution II Li-Po charger is also equipped with a discharge mode where you can safely discharge your Li-Po batteries with up to 500 mA discharge current.

QUANTUM LI-PO SAFER/BUZZER

A "normal" (for Ni-Cd/Ni-MH packs) speed control should not be used with Li-Po cells because of the different cut off voltages. If you want to use a "normal" speed control with Li-Po packs then add a Li-Po Safer to your speed control.

Simply solder or connect the Li-Po Safer module in parallel between your battery and speed control, choose the control voltage and Li-Po Safer will warn you with a buzzer or bright light when the pack's voltage goes under the control voltage. This does not provide automatic cut off. The LED version is recommended only for indoor flying

QUANTUM AKULA LI-PO SINGLE 1X 350 3.7V

Lithium-Polymer batteries or short "Li-Po" batteries, offer higher energy density than comparable Ni-MH or Ni-Cd batteries. Typically Li-Po batteries deliver at least twice the capacity at half of the weight of Ni-MH or Ni-Cd batteries. This makes your model lighter giving you increased performance and flight time. Akula SUPER HRD packs are assembled using select and then matched cells for optimum power and safety. They can discharge at up to 20C and each pack is equipped with Balancerboard Connectors.

QUANTUM 3 CELL BALANCERBOARD

The easy to use Balancerboard Module provides extra safety for you and your battery pack when charging Akula Li-Po batteries. The sophisticated electronic boards "Balance" the charging voltage between each individual cell so one cell is not overcharged. Charging a Li-Po cell with too much voltage can seriously damage the cell. Older styled safety boards cut off the charging process if the voltage at one cell is reached, the disadvantage is clear - your pack will not be fully charged.

Each Balancerboard Module is individually tested and calibrated before it leaves the factory. Only high quality components, such as metal resistors are used to maintain tight tolerances under varying conditions. LED lights provide feedback during the charging process.

Single cells are sold without tab. 650HRD (Hi Rate Discharge) battery packs are assembled with 0.5 mm² flexible cable, 1100HRD battery packs are assembled with 1.5 mm² flexible silicone cable. The 4 and 5 cell receiver packs are assembled with a servo wire and JR connector (fits Hitec and Futaba also). The other packs are supplied without a connector. K1 Gold Connectors are recommended for the 650 mAh packs and K2 Gold Connectors for the 1100 mAh packs.
