Coast Guard MLB 47

The U.S. Coast Guard depends on the new 47' Motor Lifeboat (MLB) in critical situations. Its primary mission is search and rescue. Constructed to endure impacts of three times the force of gravity and can operate in hurricane force winds. Highly survivable, the MLB has the ability to right itself in less than 30 seconds, while remaining fully operational. The 47' MLB is built by the men and women of Textron Marine and Land Systems.
This kit was designed with drawings supplied from Textron, Inc., as well as assistance from the U.S. Coast Guard.

A Complete Kit Featuring:

Micro-Cut Quality Basswood and Lite-Ply parts. Machined and Die-Cut for quick assembly.
* Self-aligning hull construction
* Hull is planked with basswood sheeting, then covered with fiberglass cloth (included) for strength.
* Deckhouse assembles accurately using die-cut interlocking parts
* Over four dozen high-quality, lead-free castings
* Complete motorizing package includes shafts, stuffing tubes, props, motor / shaft couplers, and special 7.2 volt motors!
* Water slide decals, silk screened flags, non-skid deck material, extruded rubber bumpers, brass railing materials, tow rope cordage and more!
* All necessary steering linkage
