Do you manufacturer the Radio Control Hovercrafts shown on your website? Yes, over the years we have seen good small to medium size radio control manufacturers go out of business. A few years ago QTH acquired Kinetics Hovercrafts, our good friend and owner of Kinetics passed away. Since then QTH has worked to improve and keep the unique product line alive. QTH has also acquired much of the old Ace Radio products when Tom Runge, good friend and an icon in the RC industry passed away. One of Tom's pet projects was the two lithos that he had produced from the original art work that he owned.

Why isn't a phone number listed on the website? At one time QTH had an 800 number for customers to call. After a couple of years our accounting department determined that it was not cost effective. One of the major problems faced in the RC industry is low markups. In order to survive a company must keep its overhead down. We used highly secured "canned" software for processing orders, credit cards and all e-mails are funneled thru one e-mail account and forwarded on to the various departments for processing. A history of of all e-mails (excluding spam) are retained and reviewed for proper customer support. We admit that sometimes it takes longer than we would like to response to all the e-mails we get, but each one is important. One of our phone numbers is listed on your credit card statement, in case there is a problem.

Why one time I get my parts in a week and another time it takes almost a month? Most orders are shipped within 48 hours (2 days) with shipping time you should receive within ten days. If part of the items on your order are out of stock (backed order) we will hold the entire order for the next shipment from the Manufacturer for that item We receive shipment from most Manufacturers every week. If the Manufacturer can not fill the back order within a reasonable time we will forward on all parts that are available and ship the remaining parts when the manufacturer provides us with them. There is no additional charge for shipping of back orders, with the exception of international orders that are shipped either Global Express or Global Priority, in which case actual shipping charges do apply. At QTH we know that parts is what keeps the radio control hobbyist flying, driving or sailing and we work hard to get them the parts even the out of date or discontinued ones by contacting the manufacturers or other hobby shops around the world. |

I noticed on my order confirmation of shipping that you referred to Attempted Credit Card Fraud, Do you think I am a thief? No, this is a standard statement due to the increase in credit card fraud attempts. Since October of 2005 the credit card companies have been advertising, "You are protected, all charges will be removed". Credit Card fraud on the internet is a major problem for merchants - they are the ones who "eat" the loss, not the banks or the credit card companies. With this advertising some "honest" people have tried to "get something for nothing", this is still a crime and will be prosecuted We belong to a network of Merchants who work together to prevent fraud loss, along with the FBI and our local police department. We also inform other RC Industry suppliers of the attempt. Actual Credit Card Fraud is climbing due to the failure of the banks and credit card companies protecting your private information.
